The Vacuum Lectures

We have created The Vacuum Lectures, a 12-lecture, online three day lecture series which covers all the vacuum lectures covered in our two other courses (The Three Day in-person course and the 13-week online course). This course is designed for those that are not able to travel to an in-person course nor are able to afford the time of the more comprehensive and thorough 13-week course. The lecture series allows for direct discussion with instructors about each lecture through Google Meet.  Once registered each participant will receive link details for video participation.
LECTURE SLIDE PACK: Participants will receive the 12-lecture slide pack as a pdf file.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION: At the end of the course participants will be awarded a certificate from the VSA verifying that they did attend all three days of the course presentations. Instructors verify attendance through a list of attendance of each lecture and their comprehension through a series of multiple choice questions for each of the 12 lectures delivered.
ACCESS TO THE LECTURE RECORDINGS: All participants will have access to the recordings of each lecture after the lecture series is completed.
UPGRADE LECTURE SERIES COURSE TO 13-WEEK VACUUM COURSE: The Vacuum Lectures certificate can be upgraded to a Certificate of Graduation (which has either a PASS or PASS WITH DISTINCTION) for the 13-week online course by completing the assignments, and participating in the weekly tutorials and two laboratory classes. The upgrade allows the student to upgrade their creditials in their own time.

Payment Options

To celebrate the first Virtual Vacuum Congress - VVC21 the VSA is offering the following:

FREE REGISTRATION OF THE LECTURE COURSE TO REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS OF VVC21. Please Register first at REGISTER FOR VVC21. Then return to this page and Register for the course. Please use the same email you registered under for VVC21 otherwise we are unable to verify your free registration for the Lecture Course.

This is an incredible deal because our Lecture Series is more expensive than the Registration at VVC21!

Participants have the ability to pay with  credit card, PayPal, or through direct bank transfer. Bank transfer details are:
