The Three Day Vacuum Course

We have extended our well-known two day vacuum course to three days in order to allow for more time focused on problem solving and mastery of the syllabus. VSA course registration fees are extremely cost effective.
We wish to keep direct costs to the community as low as possible without hindering course delivery and excellence.
REFERENCE NOTES: Participants will receive a comprehensive set of notes with references to texts  covering practical aspects of vacuum science and technology as well as a copy of the presentations.
CERTIFICATE: At the end of the course participants will be awarded a certificate from the VSA verifying that they did attend all three days of the course presentations and completed all exercises and tests.
WHAT ELSE IS PROVIDED? Morning and afternoon teas/coffees/biscuits are provided. Lunch may be taken at the ANSTO cafeteria directly next to the AINSE building where lectures and demonstrations will be given.
ACCOMMODATION:  If from outside Sydney there are a variety of accommodation possibilities in the vicinity of ANSTO and AINSE. Budget style accommodation is available directly next to ANSTO, at the Lucas Heights Motel, but should be booked as soon as possible as rooms can book out quickly.
TRANSPORTATION: AINSE may be reached by car  or through use of the ANSTO bus service that travels between Sutherland Station and AINSE. Be aware that the ANSTO Bus only travels at certain times. There is a 7:45 am and 8:35 am bus that leaves from the Sutherland train station (where the bus terminus is) that will get you to the course each day on time. Otherwise Uber or taxis are also a possibility. A taxi will cost ~$30 AUD and Uber ~$20-$25 AUD. The ANSTO bus costs $3 each way. Tickets may be purchased at the ANSTO cafeteria.
